False Postive from Virus Scanners (Windows only)

The PairVPN Windows download from our website is 100% clean, without virus, spyware, ransomware or adsware, and is always signed with our authenticode Extended Validation certificate. However it may still trigger warnings from some virus scanners due to False Positives, which is a common problem of anti-virus software.

We tried out best to avoid False Postives from most popular security products such as Microsoft Defender or those from McAfee, Symantec, Avast etc. Big companies like these have a formal process to accept false positive reports and provide quick certification whenever we have a new build. Unfortunately we won't be able to cover all anti-virus products. So if PairVPN execution is warned or blocked by your virus scanner you will have to whitelist PairVPN.exe on your own.

Previous False Positives reported by Eset and Microsoft Defender have been resolved by their developers. Do an update of their definition files (usually automatic) if you still experience warnings. No change of PairVPN needed.
